Bring distributed AI to you.
Today’s AI runs in a handful of centralized data centers. A few companies control the data that is scraped and the content that is served back. One vendor controls most of the GPU supply, exposed to political turmoil. AI is projected to draw 945 TWh of energy by 2030, roughly the consumption of Japan.
We think this is the wrong shape for the most important technology of our time.
Mandelbrot is a distributed AI framework that brings AI to your data, not the other way around.
It is built on peer-to-peer networking, the same technology that powers Ethereum. Microcontrollers, mid-size hardware, and large cloud hosts join a single network and communicate directly, without a central point of failure or control.
Traditional frameworks force painful tradeoffs between scalability, privacy, and performance. Mandelbrot balances all three. It is written in Rust and uses state-of-the-art communication protocols to maximize bandwidth. Its distributed design scales horizontally and has no single point of failure. Users decide which hosts talk to cloud infrastructure and where their data goes.
Setup is simple. Install the Mandelbrot driver on your devices and Mandelbrot desktop on a hub. Select your data sources and training scheme. Choose the inference outputs and tunable controls you care about. Deploy, view analytics, and profit.
Businesses and consumers who need efficient, private, and scalable AI inference are a projected $1.3 trillion market. We know how to make money serving them.
We are a small team of engineers and physicists who have built automation and simulation systems at scale. If you want to help move AI to the edge, we would like to hear from you.
